After living in a bijoux, ground floor flat for the past six years we have all become pretty much strangers to a flight of stairs. Where, once upon a time, back in the homeland, we would be going up and down without even a second thought ……..
…….. we’ve all now grown very used to “on the level living”, as my legs will attest whenever I do have to make the occasional summit or plummet upon one!
I think Nigel has the odd hankering now and again, especially for a slippery bannister and Darrell sometimes from the interior design aspect ……
………. but the thought of the pastels that fair took Nigel’s fancy in the window of the local carpet shop in town, I don’t very think so ……. especially not with that certain person’s mucky shoes, boots or trainers ……… it would be a case of socks at dawn me thinks!
Let's hope Darrell doesn't think about a small flight of stairs, in the middle of your lounge, as a conversation piece. Nigel would insist on a banister, on which to slide down, too.
