We have finally filled our shoeboxes for Auntie Jan’s Brownies to send to Operation Christmas Child.
We’ve done one for a boy and one for a girl, and put lots of exciting and useful things in them.
We put in a couple of photos of us in too, so the children can see who sent them their presents.
Wrapping the shoeboxes wasn’t as easy as we thought it would be, especially as Darrell was in a buoyant and playful mood!
But when he finally calmed down and stopped humming George Michael’s Last Christmas.......
He sighed a thoughtful sigh and said “We’re very lucky Monkey, aren’t we?”

You are lucky and so are the children that will receive the gifts. Careful with the sellotape, it can get in all sorts of places. Sellotape in Mexico is called "durex." Snigger, snigger.
