……. and to mark the occasion we thought that we would pose for a few Hello Magazine type photos to celebrate ……
The every day stories of three every day monkeys ..... embarking on a whole series of new adventures after swapping the pleasures of Wolverhampton for a more peaceful, bijoux, riverside way of life in Evesham.

Darrell’s Dun Gud!
Darrell has excelled himself this year bringing a little Halloween awe and wonder and magic into our lives, especially Nigel’s ………..
…… and last night was no exception! I suspected something was afoot as there seemed to be an awful lot of secretive huffing and puffing coming from Darrell’s general direction ….. and then all the lights went off …… and Nigel and I were beckoned to the bottom of the stairs…..
……. no one can ever, ever have enough awe and wonder, especially Nigel.Wednesday 29 October 2014

Tuesday 28 October 2014
Sorry Nigel
Awwwww Darrell
Do you remember the other day when Nigel was very taken by the terracotta skulls at the garden centre and Darrell left Nigel eating cake for a while ……..?

Fantomes Suspendus!
There was humungous excitement Chez Castle yesterday, when we all got in from work and saw that Postman Bob had been and had left a large envelope addressed to The Boyz on the doormat ……
…… which we immediately recognised as coming from Jan The Fan, our biggest and most loyalist fan in Newcastle, we also strongly suspected that the envelope may contain something of a seasonal type nature.
Oh mon dieu et mon droite est mon gauche ……. it was a pack of three ghost decorations for the garden (me, Darrell and Nigel in spectral form?) ……… let’s just say, it got a little emotional……..
Well, it goes without saying that those Fantomes Suspendus were going to be inflated and “suspendos” there and then, with Nigel doing the honours of blowing …..
…… me doing the tying ….. and Darrell planning the best, de rigueur location to suspendus notre fantomes………..
…….. which after much deliberation, he decided should be from the old arched tree right at the bottom of the garden.
…… that the suspendus-ing of said fantomes was emotional ………
If Derek Acorah himself had wandered into our garden at that time he wouldn’t have known who to speak to first …..but ……. these suspendus fantomes looked more intent on having fun, than telling us, while channelling naturally through Derek that Andy liked what we had done with the cushions in the lounge……!!!!!!!!
You’ve topped our Halloween for us already and it’s hardly even started!!
Rest assured that these suspendus fantomes are going to be haunting us for much longer than just Halloween ……
………. we love them …….THANK YOU SO MUCH JAN THE FAN ……… for bringing so much laughter and fun dans le bottom le jardin!!! XXXXX

Halloween Starts Early Chez Caste Greysquirrel Continued ……
So ….. following on from yesterday and Nigel’s tucking in of Darrell’s weird donut …….
I shouldn’t have been at all surprised when Nigel, naturally, wanted to try out the fangs for size ……. first one way …….
…… and then the other ……
……. and believe me …… the sound barrier was then well and truly broken in our kitchen, such was their uncontrollable hilarity ….. it’s a wonder the neighbours didn’t come round to find out what was occurring!
I have never heard anything like it …………. there were tears of laughter …… damp patches …..
……. and at one stage I thought Darrell had stopped breathing completely when he couldn’t seem to catch his breathe for laughing!
When they had finally gathered their composure, some 45 minutes later, Nigel thanked Darrell and gave him a huge hug, saying that it was the funniest trick or treat anyone had ever done for him. It was an emotional moment!
I am not sure however how much more my delicate eardrums can endure if such shenanigans continue!!!
