….. and Nigel is naturally trying to use the situation re: the restoration of Castle Greysquirrel to his own advantage …..
…….. by faking, with robustly melodramatic concern, his inability to have a bath ….. for at least several weeks, because obviously, we have no useable bath for him to bath in ……..
I naturally am having none of it and have told him that if a tin bath in front of the fire worked for me when I was a boy, a plastic bucket in front of the radiator will be fine for him ……
…… poor Nigel, foiled again!!

Good try Nigel.
In the cold weather, I used to have a bath in a plastic tub in front of the fire.
But that was last week......
P.S. It is true about the bath when I was a small child.
Well if I was Nigel I would be concerned that the said plastic bath in front of the fire shouldst melt!!! So I am with Nigel on this occasion! JantheFan x
Aw..poor Nigel; a golden opportunity down the drain......I suspect he will actually want a bath when he sees the fab new tub!.....is there room in a plastic bucket for a duckie and a toy boat?....Dianne
