National Pie Week

It’s National Pie Week (March 2nd – 8th), to wit, the celebration of a baked dish of fruit, or meat and vegetables, typically with a top and base of pastry, how brilliant is that?
And naturally, we will be embracing the theme with much robusticity, well it would be rude not to wouldn’t it?  So this week we will mainly be consuming an ample sufficiency of cottage pie, apple pie, pork pie, lemon meringue pie, steak and ale pie and perhaps a few large slices of banoffee pie!
