Thankfully our flight was pretty uneventful, except for when the Captain announced that we had a strong tail wind behind us and would probably arrive half an hour ahead of schedule, which put Darrell, not the most relaxed of flyers, in a panic, worrying that if the wind got too strong we might blow off course, or even worse, fly past the runway in Greece! In the end I asked the stewardess for a blanket and told Darrell to put it over his head and then treated him to a Bacardi and Coke, which seemed to do the trick, as humming could be heard coming from under said blanket after about 15 minutes!
We also heard, on the grapevine, that our plane had been upgraded, so there were no complaints from us, especially Nigel who was thrilled to find he had his own video screen, instead of having to crane his neck and that he could change channels at whim ……..so once I had bought him a Twix and Fanta, and he plugged himself in, I didn’t hear a peep from him either until the seatbelt sign came up as we prepared to land and he got excited all over again!!!!!

That bay looks fantastic and the water looks so inviting.
Lucky you.
Wow-upgraded plane & your own tv screen! Make sure you all put plenty of sunscreen on as I've seen that Greece is having a heatwave right now.
