Evesham doesn’t have a zoo, a little remiss perhaps …..

but, it does have a
Pets Are Us Just For Pets ….. of which Nigel and I decided to avail ourselves yesterday afternoon as we were at a bit of a loose end.
However, I don’t think the timing of said jaunt was exactly brilliant. I had forgotten that they
might have fish, and after only coming back from our holiday a matter of days ago, Nigel got a little teary remembering the fish he had left behind ……… especially Simon Peter and Lazarus!??????
I am afraid that Nigel’s zest for all things of an animal type nature was not as zestful as it would normally have been ……
……. the birds and rabbits, although very cute and appealing didn’t have their normal affect on his usual very persistent pester power …….. so all in all it was a rather a lack lustre affair …….
…………… only saved by a mahoooooooosive triple scoop ice-cream at “Flavours”, our Evesham Ice-Cream Parlour of choice! It was only a thought as we passed by, but at the mention of us “perhaps” popping inside for a cheeky scoop, Nigel’s spirits lifted “miraculously” ……
……. and were fully restored by a Turkish Delight, Honeycomb and Bubblegum combo!

I would have gone for chocolate, double chocolate and Cornish flavours at Flavours.
Ice cream solves a lot of problems, it seems to have distracted Nigel thinking about "his fish"!!

Oh my, a triple scoop.....that will lift the spirits anytime!.....quite a combo of flavours ....never had the honour of choosing three flavours ....glad any fishwise yearings were dispelled ....Dianne
