Nigel text to say that he had a good and uneventful journey down to Cornwall, his sandwiches and flask had lasted him to Bristol and though tempted did not avail himself of a pasty at the services as he knew he was only an hour or so away from the “real thing”
The farm cottage, he says, is tooooooooooooo WONDERFUL, hidden away down a long country lane ……
……. and even more romantic and cottagey than he could have ever imagined.
And there, on the table, waiting for his arrival was a Welcome Tea of home baked scones, homemade jam and cream and real tea in proper china cups and saucers …….
…… fearing that it could all go stale if not eaten immediately Nigel naturally tucked in before even unpacking or inspecting the rest of the cottage, well it would have looked rude not to!!!! You’d think he’d be all cream tea’d out by now!!!

The cottage, and the scones look fantastic.
P.S. Do you pronounce "scone" to rhyme with one or own? I am of the former.
Goodness-those few days back at home must have been long enough away from his beloved Cream Teas!! Enjoy them young Nigel!!!!
