Yesterday morning we woke up in the anticipation that it may have snowed overnight, hopefully, most robustly
…… however, on rolling up the blinds, we were left disappointed, despite the gritters being out in force the day before and continual warnings on the news, all we got was the lightest of dustings, it was all rather lack lustre and it soon disappeared.
Poor Nigel has been on tenterhooks for it’s arrival because Iris has been “full of snow” since Christmas, having had many festive tales of snow, snowmen and snowbound woodland creatures in the run up to Christmas at bedtime. The last time she came round she even bought a plastic carrot from her kitchen set hoping, in some way Nigel could magic some snow and they could, to quote the song “….. build a snowman”

What a disappointment. Hopefully it will snow long and hard all night.
Fingers crossed you get just enough snow to allow Nigel to help Iris to build a snowman.

You are welcome to bring a shovel up and and have ours, tell Nige. You can build a circle of snowmen with this lot - but it is rapidly disappearing so you better get up here pronto! I'll have the kettle on and choco hobnobs at the ready. JantheFan x
Hoping Iris and Nigel's snow wishes come true!..Even an inch or two would make a small snowman they could put on a tray and keep in the refrigerator/freezer..... keeping fingers crossed for snowfall......we are back up to the 82-83F this week after a cool down to the high 70F's...sending snowy wishes.....Dianne
