The One That, Thankfully, Got Away ……..

Nigel does like to have a good old mooch (as do we all), and I think he has quite an eye for the unusual …….but yesterday he spotted something that thank goodness he didn’t bring home ………IMG_3835It’s certainly not the most cheery of prints with which to adorn the walls of your family nest, and I think that even Lady Dame Kelly Hoppen, the doyen of interior design and good taste might even have a struggle to find the perfect niche for it in any of her  A lister clients homes too. IMG_3831I have to admit to being a trifle relieved that Nigel did not make a considered purchase, however, had he been tempted, he said he would have been found disappointed, as it had disappeared from the shop window by the time he went past again a little later……. phew!!!

That picture would be very difficult to live with; for me downright impossible....stress overload every time you pass by!....wonder why dear Nigel was so drawn to it....lucky lucky escape....Love to all, Dianne

This is a famous cartoon by William Hogarth of Beer Street and Gin Lane. Not good places for young Nigel.
