Nigel Takes A Mahoooooosive Plunge

Nigel has finally taken a mahoooooosive plunge in New York, something he has been very apprehensive about doing …….
NEW YORK CITY - JULY 21: The Times Square at night on July 21, 2012 in New York, Times Square is major commercial intersection in New york and one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world.; Shutterstock ID 110928791; Notes:
….. to wit, hailing a New York cab, bless him.  He says that there are absolutely millions of them and that they don’t half beep a lot. He was just frightened that if he got one the fare might be astronomical, take up all his money and leave him stranded.
New York Taxi Ride
But no trip to New York would be a trip to New York without taking at least one cab ride …… so he gilded his lions, stood proudly Homo Erectus with his shaking arm outstretched, assuming  the  hailing position …….. and almost immediately a taxi pulled up ……. the deed was done!
New York Taxi,
And it was all so painless! And the fare? Well, it was nothing, he’s paid more in Evesham for a similar distance. He said he felt WONDERFUL, he was in a “real life” yellow cab in New York, New York ……. life just doesn’t get any better than that.

It was all over far too soon, so to celebrate and continue the adrenalin rush he  treated himself to another “first” at the deli …….New York Pickle
A proper, mahoooooosive New York pickle, with a few “chips” and a chicken bacon ranch Panini, packed in a proper American brown paper bag, just like in the movies  ……..  Father Christmas done soooooooooooooooooooooooo good!

Congratulations!!....No doubt about it; Nigel has become a genuine man about town in the one and only NYC!......so experienced for one so young.... subway, taxi, Rockefeller Center, and of course, NY pizza, and if he should see the Christmas service at St. Patrick's, he can feel at home.....memories, memories.....Love, Dianne
