The Towers Has A Festive Visitor

Yesterday, Nigel spotted the fattest little robin I think we’ve ever seen sat sitting on the fence in the garden …..

A robin …… in Robins Corner ……….

Darrell said that if Derek Acorah had been among with us he would surely have proclaimed it to be a message or spooky sign.  What on earth is he like?

So, I suggested to Darrell that if we really had to read anything of a significant type nature into the robin’s appearance, it was probably one of festive tidings, bringing us comfort and joy at the start of the Advent calendar opening season.

I could tell that Darrell was not convinced ……. but it did remind Nigel that he hadn’t opened the days window in his said calendar.

Great photo, mum. I'm amazed that robin can walk, let alone fly. The good people of Evesham must be feeding "him" very well.

I love it when I spot a Robin in the garden, at least it reminded Nigel to open his Advent calendar. Does it have chocolate behind each door?

Oh boyz your posts do brighten up the darkest of winter days! Thank you! As for the robin - Derek Acorah of course would have Sam telling him in his ear, that seeing a robin shows us, that loved ones who have gone on before are still near us. Quite poignant at this time of year. Thinking of you all. JantheFan x
