A Change of Tack for Darrell

Picture 213
Unfortunately, stones of a holey nature seem to be a rarity in Brixham and the surrounding beaches, Darrell has been beachcombing for hours but has only managed to find a handful. He says it’s all something to do with the type of ingenius rock here and how it weathers, which, he mused, makes Brixham holey stones extra special.

But not to be deterred, he has started collecting sea glass. Most of it is green and white, but he has found the odd piece of blue and brown.  Some pieces he has found are tiny weenie, and he has put these in lovely little bottles which look very romantic.

I am not sure what he is going to do with his beach treasures ….but I am sure we will find out in the fullness of time. ….. Darrell is so lovely when he goes all  pensive and thoughtful!
