Nigel took himself off to the beach yesterday afternoon, for the last time ….. he wanted some time on his own ……
…….. and found that he had the whole beach ……..
……. for miles and miles and miles, all to himself. With an errie sort of mist and the crashing waves, it was all too romantic and atmospheric for words ……
…… which made him throw caution to the wind and go for a cheeky paddle …… and it felt WONDERFUL!!!
And then, he decided to wade in and explore some enticing looking rock pools, rock pools have been a bit of an enigma on our recent Greek holidays……
……. but instead of finding a crab or such like sea creatures amongst the barnacles, muscles and seaweed …….
….. he found a ladybird!!!!!!
He then found a rock and just sat ……….
……..and marvelled and mused ……..
…….. about just how much he loved the sea ……
……… and although he is a bit of a gogglebox when it comes to watching the tele ……… sometimes it
does get a bit boring, especially when there are Party Political Broadcasts on …..
…….. but, he could never, ever, ever, ever get bored …….
……… of watching the sea.
It was with a heavy heart that he said his finally goodbyes, and then reluctantly walk back to Beth’s house ….. but, he had his bags to pack as he was travelling back home to Castle Greysquirrell and Darrell and I tomorrow!
