Festive Comestible Review – Mr Kipling Winter Whirls With Unexpected Guest Taster!!!!!

After testing Mr Kipling’s Frosty Fancies the other week, we decided to keep with the theme and see how many other of  Mr Kipling’s special Christmas delights we can sample during the festive season, so yesterday afternoon Darrell and Nigel thought that they would get stuck into a box of Mr Kipling’s Winter Whirls……..
…….. small shortcake confections with a “ rich buttercream and mince pie flavour filling” ……. which sounded robustly promising ……
…… with the added bonus of a puzzle on the box to keep Nigel occupied when all the cakes had gone (so far he has found 9!)
It has to be said, they did look exceeding good …….
….. but, after cutting into one, perhaps a teensy weensy bit more of the mince pie bit would have been nice …… but there again, what we may think of as an ample sufficiency of mince pie flavour filling, may be too much for others.
All was boding well for a good and insightful review, when, things took an unexpected turn …….
…… all of a sudden, a tiny hand appeared and helped itself to one of the carefully dissected pieces of Winter Whirl ……. …….
Baby Iris who had been sitting next to Darrell and Nigel, and taking a very keen interest in all the proceedings had obviously decided her opinion might be appreciated too!!!!!
The disappearance of said piece of Winter Whirl was shortly followed by a contented little nomming sound coming from Iris and, Nigel strongly suspects, Binkie her snugly rabbit!
Well, what can you possibly say after being so rudely usurped like that ......
…….. except gaze lovingly and sigh huge besotted sighs …..
........... and say that, for her very first review, Iris gave three nom, nom, noms for Mr Kiplings Winter Whirls on our Richter Scale of Mr Kipling Christmas Comestibles, and it don't get any better than that!!!!

Nomtastic and Iristascic too.
Maybe Mr Kipling could employ Iris as a taste tester and write the number of Iris noms on the side of the packet.
Once more, "Do you like Kipling?"

Baby Iris is a girl after my own heart-I think those Viennese whirls are delicious! I might have to purchase some today after seeing you taste then.
