Nigel Makes An Terrible Greek Faux Pas

Poor Nigel, he has been so taken by the lemon trees and resulting lemons that grow in great abundance at The Malibu Bar, our Corfuvian Cocktail Bar of choice that he forgot himself and had a terrible lack of propriety ……..
IMG_2938We were enjoying a cheeky cocktail or two or three as the sun slowly went down …….
IMG_2887….. and I think the heady mix of being in foreign climes, a very comprehensive cocktail menu ………..

…… as well as the glorious sunshine and the heat everso slightly went to Nigel’s head a little quicker that usual.
IMG_2895I could see him going all mellow and super chilled as he sipped his Arillas Sand ……
IMG_2905…….. saying that he couldn’t believe just how big the lemons were, they were even bigger than the biggest oranges in our local Tesco ……
IMG_2907…. then he excused himself and wandered off as if drawn by a strange a hypnotic force to a particularly mahooooooooosive lemon ………
IMG_2909…….. and before I realised what he had done, he returned to the table with said monstrously humongous lemon.
mal 3I wasn’t best pleased.  I had hoped no one else had noticed, but unfortunately our lovely waitress had seen what he had done, and the evidence of his crime was sat sitting there on our table.

She very sweetly told Nigel that the lemons were strictly not for picking. Poor Nigel was justly chastened and mortally embarrassed ……. and after a little musing said that perhaps if we were indulging in multiple cocktail situations during our evenings out, that he ought to avail himself of a healthier choice every other one ……………

……. so his obvious loose morals could be kept on a firm and tight leash ……… but he’d best avoid the testosterone one! What is he like!

Poor Nigel; transfixed and overcome by temptation of these glorious lemon globes.....it was all too much......hopefully the waitress understood that he did this with glazed over eyes and with lemon love in his heart, he forgot himself.....don't want remorse spoiling his Corfu experience.....Love, Dianne
