Much Exciting Developments Across The Water.

I couldn’t help but notice how much noise the seemed to be coming from the other side of the river, behind the marina …….

…… and well, it would be rude not to investigate further wouldn’t it?

The grassy wasteland has disappeared and now seems to be the domain of all manner of vehicles of a clearing type nature. I had already heard rumours that the old brick built storage units and nursery across the way were to be demolished to make way for more new houses to add to the existing estate,  some of which will undoubtedly have a very lovely view of said marina, the river and, if I may be so bold, The Towers!

It’s all very exciting and I think we will all watch with great interest over the coming months. Now …….. what would be totally brilliant is if they also built a footbridge across the river, because Little Miss Iris’s new school in September would only then be about a five minute walk, instead of the present forty.  I know it’s a pipe dream, but you never know, if not, perhaps we could get a canoe instead!!!
