Since the summer there has been much activity (and noise) yonder river and as such much twitching of The Tower’s blinds as we have followed developments.
Gone now are the old hospital buildings that were, until recently, used as storage units and workshops ……..
…… and in their place a whole smorgasbord of twelve houses and flats rising from the rubble ……
…… some of which will have quite a spectacular view across the marina, and dare I say, The Towers!
Darrell, just out of idle curiosity has been looking for specs and prices of said smorgasbord, but as of yet has been found wanting, however it has to be said, not that we are in any shape or form looking to move, a flat on the other side of the river would save us sooooooooo many miles of walking on our marathon school trek days!
We are also hoping that all the upheaval and vibration from across the way has had nothing to do with one of the large trees on our bank coming down and that the timing was just a spooky coincidence……..
