Iris has Covid, (no signs or symptoms, so no panic, just time at home while her class is bubbled), so it’s just Nigel (well and truly boosted) and Bertie on the school run, which is always an opportunity for a little male bonding. But when Bertie asked Nigel if he had any “coins” as they left school, Nigel couldn’t help but think it was a little strange and out of character, money never entering the school run agenda, mainly because there’s no shops on route. However, Bertie also asked if they could up a different road on the way home as there was something he was “desperate” to show Nigel ………
OMG, it was the house of all Nigel’s festive dreams ever, ever, ever ……….
…… a house of awe and wonder …………………..
…….it was ……….. as you can imagine ……….. emotional…… VERY emotional ……..
…… something that without Iris’s positive PCR test Nigel might possibly have never seen.
There was sooooooooo much to take in Nigel knew that this wasn’t going to be just a one off visit, while Iris was off school they would be able to make the small detour to linger and oooooooo and ahhhhhhh for as long as they liked. And Bertie’s coins?
That was for the hopper to send a donation down for Cancer Research. Let’s just say our piggy banks have been well and truly raided by the little fella ……… I think this has really made his Christmas……. bless his little cotton socks!

Gosh Boys, what can we say but thankyoooou for the decorations that our postman has delivered. They are soo snowed under as they do not have a driver to deliver the parcels out seperately and they have to bring them in their post sack along with al the letters. He has had to divide his route into three and we get post every third day. Today was our day. Whoopee!!. Hugs Norm and Sammy.XX
I hope Iris recovers quickly and hasn't spread it to anyone else.
That is one mighty fine house! Most impressive. And for a good cause, too!
