Time To Say Goodbye……

It’s time for us to leave the intensive pleasures of the Worcester countryside and Chateau De Chic-Kin Coup to return to Castle Greysquirrel

It’s been all tooooooo wonderful ……

…….. even though Hugh was called away on the cusp of our arrival to attend emergency crisis talks of a pilot TV show type nature, none of which we are really privy to.

But Hugh very graciously still gave us free rein of his rural cottage retreat and the services of his “man that does” ……. although, not being used to the aforementioned services of a “man that does” we really didn’t like to trouble him too much and managed pretty much on our own.

Before we leave Hugh said that we must take “…. some of zee hen’s h’eggs home, no” as there were only so many that he can eat …….

………. but he said “….. leave zee one or two for Simone Cowellllle, as he would be popping in at zee weekend and ‘ee likes to take a few back to London for zee poaching and zee coddling, no!” To think ….. that Simon Cowellllle will be eating “zee” same eggs as us for ‘is breakfast all next week!!!!

There were also some tiny Nigel sized eggs from the bantams, so we took the liberty of taking a few of them too, but I think Darrell and I may have to watch Nigel like a hawk  to make sure he doesn’t try to sneak a couple up to his room when we get home and try to hatch them under his blankets!!!!

We each took a quiet few minutes to say our goodbyes to Le Chic-Kin Coup ………….. hoping, that perhaps, as it is so close to Evesham ……

……. Hugh would invite us to stay again very soon, and perhaps this time he would be “allowed”, showbiz commitments permitting, to stay with us and share in a very special time too.
