Our first Pancake Day in Evesham …….. and to ring in the changes and start new traditions, we had pancakes for breakfast instead of tea.
I thought I had made an ample sufficiency …….
……. but after agreeing to make another ten on top of the ten I had already made I decided it was best to say “….that’s it!” Nigel looked as is he had the pancake sweats and Darrell had a look of regret on his face. I said that I thought we’d all eaten enough to store in our bodies, though I am not sure where, like camels store water until Easter ….. I dread to think what the scales will say when Darrell goes to his next weigh in! Oh well, it’s done now …….Happy Pancake Day!

we too love pancakes! ..... often have them for our supper with fresh fruit and tea.... but they do entice you to go overboard and have "just one more"!.....hope Darrell was able to stop before permanent diet damage requiring several days of ultra calorie deprivation! ..You have been enjoying some great eating with that German Happy Cow and now a Happy Pancake Day,Yum! I haven't had pancakes in ages.
I like Golden Syrup and lemon juice on mine. Unfortunately, the former isn't available here in Mexico.
