The Knitted Bible - Nigel Is Gutted

Nigel was just enjoying a quiet contemplative visit to St Laurence’s Church in Evesham when upon leaving he noticed a poster that upon closer inspection was, he said, like a dagger to his heart …….

…….. because it was for an event that had already been, but which he would have moved hell or high water to go to, if he’d known it was on  in his capacity as an aficionado of all things of a knitted religious type nature, to wit the Motor World annual knitted nativity scene back in the homeland.

He’d missed a chance to see the world famous travelling Knitted Bible Exhibition …….. it had been sooooo close, but now was sooooo far away for the little fella.

Thirty four knitted biblical scenes from the old and new testaments……. would have just been his idea of woolly heaven.

He returned to The Towers slightly crestfallen, but Darrell and I have promised to keep an eye on all it’s future travels and if we’re anywhere near it we’ll pop in so Nigel can absorb it all, as it’s now very firmly on his bucket list of things to do.

Oh, dear, poor Nigel. Never mind, maybe it will come back soon.
