It’s been a most glorious few days away in Dawlish for Darrell, Lulu, Iris, Bertie and Nigel ………
…….. with Nigel awarded with a much prized sticker for all his efforts and complete wild gay abandon while embracing Mr Poodlebum’s shows and activities in Dougies Den …..
…… according to Darrell never has a badge of honour been more valiantly earned!
And, what holiday would be complete without checking out one or two of the finest locally produced comestibles before finally hitting the road back to Evesham …………..
I’m told Nigel made quite a few considered purchases from all the chutneys, fudge and toffees, a little something, he said, to enjoy and bring back memories while watching the TV of the now slowly drawing evenings.
He’s also came to a decision ………
……. when his time comes to pass this mortal coil he’d like to be remembered with a plaque, on a bench, by the sea where he’s always happiest.
He’s not quite sure where, it might be easier in this country rather on a Greece isle …….. but somewhere lovely, perhaps maybe Brixham. It’s been a long time since we’ve been there but memories of Cockle Cottage still remain strong in his heart and it’s where, for sure, Andy is.
Bless his little cotton socks.

Brixham, with Andy, is an excellent choice for a bench with a plaque.
Mr. Poodlebum? What a fine name. I wonder if Mrs. Poodlebum kept her maiden name.
The finest locally produced comestibles, too. I would go for Thorntons Special Toffee, myself. And I may lose a filling or two, as well. This time, I have made my own mouth water. :)
