Nigel & Lu’s Hotel –Durley Dean

Nigel and Lu are staying at the Durley Dean Hotel, just a stones throw from the sea, all be it via a long and winding path, which Nigel says, he would much rather go down than up!

He says Darrell would be in seventh heaven there, with its luxury swimming pool and gym, plus spa offering treatments that he would surely avail himself of, a hot stone massage being one of his long felt wants, although the  thousand flower detox wrap and 60 minute dynamic resurfacing precision peel might have him whipped up in a frenzy of indecision.

Meanwhile Nigel is very impressed by all the hotels romantic staircases, oh for a crinoline to dramatically sweep and flounce down them …….. Hugh, Darrell’s best friend and mentor of all things of a showbiz type nature would have surely been in his element during his days as a Pantomime Dame.

And yes, Mr D, Nigel has full advantage of the bannisters, availing himself of more than one slide down,  well, it would have been rude not to, seeing as they were there!

As it also would have been, not trying a little something of everything (on two trips) from the full English buffet menu.  

So, I am not at all surprised when Nigel says that he has been sleeping like a log and a baby combined, what with all said sliding, autumnal sea air and most excellent food  …….. what is he like?
