We’ve been pretty observant as regards to the no taking food from the breakfast room rule, but yesterday, I’m afraid Nigel’s eyes were a little too big for his tummy as far as the assorted breakfast cold meats were concerned ……….
….. but as Darrell and I couldn’t really oblige in helping the little fella out as we were full to stuffed too …….
………. what were three law abiding monkeys to do, not wishing to leave anything on our plates and look wasteful?
Well, we decided, in this case, we could only do the honourable thing by popping said exotic hams covertly into our lunch box to surreptitiously supplement our usual cheese and tomato baps later on in the day. It felt good, yet a little bad at the same time, to help a mate out in such a way …….. and fortunately our furtive, comestible tactics weren’t, thankfully, spotted ……..
…… and boy, after all that, did those undercover butties taste good ……
……. despite Nigel’s usually most ample appetite ……….
……. letting him down on this very rare occassion! What are we like?

That was a dilemma and a conundrum to put you in a quandary. I think you did the right thing, in the circumstances. Although, once again, you have got my mouth watering.
I’m hoping it wasn’t like a Mr Bean sketch when you hid the ham?!
