Oh my life ……. Nigel had only nipped into Home Bargains for a few confectionary treats for his beloved niece and nephew for the school run ………
…….. but with Christmas and New Year barely cold (and Darrell still having a few sprouts and pigs in bankets left in the freezer), the little fella found himself well and truly seasonally bombarded…….
…… with Valentines Day ……. leading him to then ponder if he should perhaps find a “little something” for his very favouritist lady of a dental hygienist career type persuasion.
Swiftly followed by Mothers Day, where he mourned the fact that he didn’t actually know whether he had a mum or not, having been rescued from a special edition pack of PG Tips many moons ago, but if he had, he would undoubtedly shower her with pink pyjamas, one size pale green slippers and all manner of smelly products that ladies seem to adore, all loving wrapped and presented in a Home Bargains Mothers Day bag, what is he like?
And then, across the aisle he fell into Easter …………
…… where he was quite taken with the idea of a cuddly dinosaur and Easter egg type combo.
It was almost all too much, but in the end he decided to leave it all behind and settle for a generous sharing bag of Cadbury mini-eggs for the aforementioned school run and the reason for his visit in the first place, reasoning that he had more than ample time to muse over all the seasonal possibilities in the coming months, bless his little 100% cotton socks!

Wow - that didn't take long. Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Easter, already.
Wow-three seasons all in one visit. Good choice of confectionery.

Oh Nigel you nearly had me with your 'lost' mother - my eyes started to mist over - but finally came the chocolate and I perked up - creme eggs - now you're talking. It's never too early to get your tongue stuck in a cream egg! JantheFan x
