Sadly, our last "proper" full day in Elounda has come ……….
……. and with heavy hearts we know our suitcases need to be packed.
While still embracing every single second we have left by the throat, but not in any sort of murderous way obviously ...........
Darrell’s non negotiable holey stone was finally found and put away safe ……….
……. before we were back at our apartment where Nigel finished the last of his beloved Greek yoghurt and honey that was in our fridge and then change into a clean shirt when he missed his mouth.
Then we shared our traditional small bottle of Asti Spumante to toast this years odyssey and hopefully, Greek Gods willing, the many, many more odysseys to come ……..
…….. before hitting the town for one last time to blow the last of our holiday money on one or two (or three or four…….. possibly five) commiseratory cocktails before our last Greek sleep!

You found a holey stone. Great!
All good things must come to the end, as they say.
Five cocktails! I bet you slept well. I hope you don't have a hangover on the plane.
Your first post from Greece was 1th July. Have you been there a whole month? So, from Greece, at least, tomorrow is the last post - sounds like an important bugle call.
Oh Nooooooooo.....I'm getting all emosh ....again!!!
