This morning Nigel found an abandoned giant teddy outside the charity shop on the corner of our road on his travels ……
…….. and declared that if ever there was a story to be written about an abandoned teddy it was this one. He looked so sad, alone and dejected, it fair broke the little fella’s heart.
If he could have, he would have struggled and dragged it back home with him, but said Ted was huge, the day was hot and besides, he wasn’t that sure about Ted’s gaping seams and the possibility of leaving an unseemly trail of stuffing as he was pulled along …… and then, what would we have done with him? The Towers is bijoux enough without filling it up even more
No, Nigel had to put his big boy pants on and as nonchalantly as he could muster, turn his back and leave “Delbert” exactly where he was sat, to face his fate, where hopefully someone else might see him and take pity upon him, preferably someone with a needle and thread. It was a tough do for the little fella and let’s just say there were a few tears at bedtime from worrying. What is he like?

Poor Nigel.
Giant Teddy? With the perspective in the photos, Nigel looks bigger than said Ted.
(But not Ted, the Head, Mrs. G?)
Oh goodness Nige - you've got me - I'm filling up here and not with stuffing for the teddy!!! I'm sure someone will have given it a very loving home and spoke to it sweetly as they stuck the needle into his fur. JantheFan x
