You know when you just can’t decide on which cake to make a considered purchase of because there’s too many to choose from and you really wouldn’t turn your nose up at any of them? Well, the little fella has finally found the answer to all our sponge based deliberations ……..
……. to wit, the very wonderful Allison’s Kitchen Pic n Mix cake! Can life get any better than this?
Four glorious quarters of coffee, lemon, chocolate and Victoria sponge in one cake and each said quarter amply sufficient to be carved in two, perhaps even, (considering there are three of us), three generous slices!!!
And well, it would have been rude for Nigel not to have returned home holding one aloft wouldn’t it?

Mind you, if I could actually pick and mix, just for me, my four quarters would be:
1. Chocolate
2. Chocolate
3. Chocolate
4. Chocolate
In restaurants, my dessert of choice is almost invariably......CHOCOLATE.
