Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus…….

……. or very “Happy St. David’s Day!” to you all!

Now, we very much doubt that there’s any Welsh in any of us, but that still doesn’t stop us from jumping on the “Bandwagon Cymreig Dathlu” (celebratory Welsh bandwagon) to welcome in the month of March …….

……. with an added pinch punch and white rabbits for good measure, well, it would be rude not too, wouldn’t it?

So, you find us in full blown festive mood, we started the day off with a round of Welsh rarebit for breakfast, with the promise of a Welsh cake or two with our elevenses, followed by one of Darrell’s wonderous ham, leek and potato pies for tea, (with a carrot, cauliflower and broccoli accompaniment)  and a cheeky Glamorgan sausage on the side!

A veritable comestible cornucopia of Welsh delights!  Sut le ydyn ni?

Wow. You certainly don't do anything by half measures.

Guess what? Yet again, you have got my mouth watering.

p.s. You really enter into the joy and wonder of these special days which present themselves during the year. You really lift my spirits by creating 'ordinary days' into some quite wonderful, memorable occasions. JtF x
