It’s usually Nigel who spots a most excellent window display in town, but on this occassion, according to Darrell, this one is his.
Goodness only knows how, but he definitely pipped Nigel to the post this time! The only thing I can think of is that it must have sprung up overnight, before a school run day, when the little fella was obviously otherwise occupied and on a different trajectory route wise!
What more wonderful teddy bear’s feast could you wish for, taking centre stage in the window of Gummy Gum Drops, our Evesham confectionary emporium of choice. It’s just beautiful ………..
…… and the detail, from the cocktail sausage and pineapple and cheese on sticks and delicate ham sandwiches, to the ice cubes in the drinks. I have to admit, it was a very emotional viewing, wait ‘till Nigel sees it, he’ll be beside himself.
And then, when I got home, sat sitting with a cup of tea and Hob Nob in front of the tele, a picture of it popped up on the Midlands News ………
…… it was so well deserved and I felt proud that we are indeed regular customers of should a lovely (and well stocked) establishment.
Happy days and very well done!

Great spot, Darrell. Excellent. As attested by the local news channel, indeed.
Oh that really is a fabulous display! Takes me back to when our two were small and rainy days were often Teddy bear tea party days. Sandwiches and crisps were always more exciting eaten off a tablecloth on the floor!
Oh that is so very sweet - in more ways that one. That's a lot of effort, hope it brought in the customers too - they deserve it! JantheFan x
