A Most Poignant Rom Com ……

It’s not come to Evesham yet and we’re not exactly sure when it will  ……..

…… but, it goes without saying that we all love an rom com set in foreign climes, especially of a big, fat, Greek wedding type nature ………

…… so, when it does, you can be assured that tickets will be booked, popcorn and share bags of Revels duly purchased and a Kia-Ora orange cup or two, for old times sake, secreted about our person …….

…….. unless …… LuLu finds it on Netflix or Prime in the run up to Christmas, in which case, we might well save it to watch over the festive season to get us in the mood for potentially booking our next possible odyssey of 2024!  What are we like, if not very, very predictable?

Something to look forward to. Either at "the pictures," or with Lu. A winner, either way.

"My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3" reminded me of when they made the play "The Madness of George III" into a film. They decided to call it "The Madness of King George," because Americans would think that "The Madness of George III" was part three (a second sequel?) and would be far less likely to see it.

Isn't it lovely to get lost in a film/movie? Just the thing that is needed. I recently saw, The Old Oak. If you see it advertised, watch it/go see it. Thought provoking to say the least! JantheFan x

p.s. A little gem of movie info from Mr D there - thank you!

Jtf - a Ken Loach film! A great director! I already had plans to see his latest movie.
