It goes without saying that Darrell is taking a very keen interest, along with Nigel of course, in the Halloween shop window displays that are springing up all around town ……
……. to see if there are any new, innovative ideas that he could possibly adapt for The Towers ….
…. preferably without the over use of too many huge spiders, even if they are of an artificial type persuasion, as they are not his most favourite of creatures at the best of times, all those long, spindly legs and stuff!
However, as to arranging pumpkins artistically on stairs? Well, as you know, we only have a pretty uninspired communal stair case chez Towers ……….
….. leading up to, among others, a certain flat …….
…… a splash of colour and fun certainly wouldn’t go amiss, but perhaps such a warm, seasonal gesture, no matter how carefully placed, would just be a health and safety issue too far ……. and not appreciated or as well received as the spirit in which it was truly meant! Hey ho, more pumpkins and swags for us instead!

Yes those stairs certainly look like they are screaming for a pumpkin or three! Shame - but there you go. You can just enjoy all the delights of Halloween behind a warm and welcoming door - but perhaps not so welcoming to our 8 legged hairy friends! JantheFan x
