Oh my goodness me, there’s been absolutely no doing with Darrell and Nigel this morning ……..
I’ll be honest, they’d all but given up on their submission to Fate and Fortune magazine about Darrell’s holey stones, as they’d had not so much as a confirmation from said magazine to say that they’d even received it ………..
……. so when they received this email this morning ……….
……… requesting an address to which payment could be sent “should” their submission be featured on the letters page, ……….
…… along with some pictures of their stones and/or possibly them ……. there was near pandemonium!
Now …….. the later request could be a bit tricky, as we’re not sure how a picture of two monkeys (no matter how cute), gazing in a mystic, other-worldly type fashion at Darrell’s collection of holey stones would go down, even in this most accepting type of magazine, so in the end it was decided it might best to send just a few pictures of the stones on their own.
It’s almost too exciting for words, Darrell and Nigel being on the cusp of becoming accomplished and published writers! As always, when we know/hear more, you’ll be the first to know, but first, I think, Darrell and Nigel need to come back down to earth!
