It’s not exactly everyone who actually looks forward to and relishes the opportunity when a light bulb “pops”……..
……. unless your name is Nigel of course!
Which, to be honest, is no bad thing Chez Towers, when you consider that poor Darrell is an absolute martyr of the first order to his vertigo.
Despite his diminutive size, the little fella is up there like a rat up a drainpipe, if you’ll pardon the expression, without the aid of any sort of safety harness, to sort it out for us.
Naturally, I am positioned directly under him with an outstretched tea towel ready to catch him should an unfortunate unbalancing occur.
He truly is our HERO!

Well done, Nigel! Great job.
"Darrell is an absolute martyr of the first order to his vertigo."
A monkey, who is afraid of heights. Just as well Darrell is an urban, and urbane, monkey. Just as well mum doesn't live in a tall block of flats, too.
We live on the thirteenth floor, which gives us wonderful views, but Darrell wouldn't like it.
He should hire himself out...he could get into all sorts of small places us mere mortals need to get into from time to time. Go young Nige. JantheFan x
