Welcome To The Towers

There was very great excitement thronging The Towers and not a little curtain twitching  this morning ……… as we’ve got yet another set of new neighbours, we do seem to get through a lot of them!!!!!

Sadly, the lovely Jez and Kayleigh have moved on to pastures new, which means that Darrell has also lost his little supply of cup cakes cases, cake decorations and other neighbourly kindnesses from, as Iris and Bertie liked to call him, “Uncle Jez Upstairs”, but we’ve all vouchsafed to keep in touch.

Now we welcome Rebecca and James to our humble fold ……….

We’ll introduce ourselves in the next little while, once they are settled. but as sure as eggs is eggs we can rely on our much beloved neighbour across the hall, Kata, to fill us in on all the details. 

Nigel is convinced she must have been a secret agent back in her Hungarian motherland, as he is constantly in awe of the way she is able to extract almost the whole of a persons life story within a few minutes of meeting them, usually while she’s having a innocent looking cigarette break outside!  So that’ll be inside leg measurements, National Insurance number, favourite colour  and mother’s maiden name at dawn then!  What’s she like? ………. We simply adore her!
