Nigel’s Pre-Festive Heads Up And Foreboding ………….

Oh my goodness ……. Nigel took himself off for a quick mooch round Home Bargains, he was after Dark Maltesers for us to revie. He returned jubilant with said Maltesers and a wry smile on his face saying that he didn’t know what on earth we were going to do, but suggested we should perhaps think about keeping Darrell under lock and key for the next few weeks …….

Christmas Bold Gel

……. as said stores’ household shelves were rampantly stocked to the rafters with every Christmas limited edition cleaning product you could think of ……..

Christmas Cif - Winter Warmth

…… all fragranced up to the hilt with all manner of evocative and potent festive aromas.

Christmas Febreeze

Everything seemed to promise to smell of a veritable winter wonderland, in frosted or spiced varieties, with whiffs, hints and tones of apple, eucalyptus, pine, sugar plum, peppermint or cinnamon, to name but a few.

Christmas Lenor

When Darrell catches wind of this little lot there’ll be absolutely no doing with him, he will want the lot, for fear of The Towers and himself of being found wanting in the festive fragrance department …….. I fear the worst!

Well done, Nigel, with the Maltesers. Well done realising that Darrell will be in his olfactory element, round the shops.

Now, how on earth do you stop Darrell from seeing all these fragrant items?

P.S. Speaking of Christmas items, how about limited-edition figgy pudding-flavored Spam? Christmas pudding? YES! Spam - normal, figgy or computer - NO!! Figgy pudding-flavored Spam? ¡¡¡NOOOO!!!

P.P.S. Spam is a portmanteau word for “spiced ham.” Here endeth today's lesson, and rant.

Oh I haven't seen many festive fragrances about - but then I haven't been round many shops recently - I must make the effort and check it all out. JantheFan x
p.s.
Mr D. You can keep your festive friendly Spam to yourself - having said that my mother used to make cracking spam fritters. Slices of Spam between two slices of potato, dipped in batter & fried. Very nice they were too - not something I have endeavoured to replicate myself but it does bring back homely memories.
