Like everyone else we are very much the comestible and household product nomads of a shopping type nature at the moment, what with all the rising prices, you’ve got to be careful……
……. which is why the ever prudent Darrell always keeps a vigilant eye on our e-mail for any money off vouchers coming in and then spends ages weighing up the special offers on the things we eat/use.
This week it was Morrison’s turn to facilitate us after they sent us a £10 off voucher.
Now, Darrell could have sworn that we are definitely not strangers to their online services, however, in amongst our delivery we received a small token thanking us for being a new customer, not quite on the same level as Waitrose’s welcome pack ………
…….. but, who wouldn’t like or greatly appreciate a free gingerbread man/person? Well, Nigel for one according to Darrell, who carefully put “Charlie” in a safe place for when the little fella returned from the school run as an extra special treat, knowing that Nigel isn’t the greatest fan of walking home in the dark now we are officially in “winter” time.

A gingerbread man/person - very nice of Mr. Morrison.
Walking home in the dark is never so much fun. Let's hope it doesn't rain. If it does, I hope that you all have good waterproofs and wellies. At least, then, you can jump in the puddles. (But not like Dawn French in that hilarious Vicar of Dibley scene.)

Oh what a nice treat - wish someone would buy me a treat after walking home in the dark, I'm team Nige on this one - don't like walking in the dark.
And yes Mr D - the Dawn French puddle is always a one to remember!
