The Towers, Returned To Normal

Our lovely Clive has now completed the restoration of our through lounge/diner.

It’s hard to tell the difference because it’s all the same colour as before  ……

…… but it does feel and look fresher and Darrell is as pleased as punch.

At least he won’t now be found staring up at the corners all the while, tutting constantly as to their grubby and far from pristine state.  Clive “dun gud”.

So “gud” that with still half a tin of the very best natural calico left, Darrell has asked Clive if he could possibly come back in the New Year to wield his magic in the now rather lacklustre, according to Darrell, ensuite and main bathroom. I’m so glad he said the New Year as I am one of those people who doesn’t respond well to the idea of “getting things done for Christmas” when there is enough pressure to get everything perfect already. It can definitely wait, I can’t remember when I last looked in their corners!
