Ohhhhhhhh Dear, Remnants of Our Halloween Sleepover

Well, I’ll admit we were tardy in getting round to cleaning the bathroom after our Halloween sleepover, we just found that we were a little more tired than we had first realised.

However, when Darrell finally armed himself with the Elbow Grease, for what he thought would be a cursory quick wipe over, he found that the bath foam that had been soooooooo much fun on Sunday morning……..

……. had managed to work itself into the grout due to our said tardiness ………. oooohhhhhhhh dear!

Time for Darrell’s tried and tested bleached soaked loo roll stuck and left along the offending stained cracks…….

……… twenty four hours later ……………..

……. it’s not worked!  That’ll teach us! Darrell’s going to repeat the operation again, but with triple the bleach and keeping it topped up if it should dry out ……… fingers robustly crossed!

Oops. Not even "Elbow Great" (TM) has done the job.

At one of our flats, I had to scrape out the old grout, and replace it with new, for all of the wall and floor tiles in the bathroom. It took a good while, and not a little of real elbow grease. (No TM)

Oh nooooooo.... these things are sent to try us....have you tried one of these. You can just cut a slice/block off, you don't need to use the full sponge.

You will get similar sponges in bargain shops, pound shops etc....

Or cover with a bit of tippex/correction fluid?

Smearing toothpaste on the offending area is supposed to be quite good too, maybe stain remover toothpaste?

A few ideas. JantheFan x
