Another Hedgehog? …… Almost On Our Very Doorstep!

Nigel went down to the river and the bridge to see how it was all fairing after the recent “floods” ……..

…… only to find that we seem to have gained yet another hedgehog, a little too close to home,  aghhhhhhhhhhh ……. and other expletives!

And an awful, hybrid proboscis type hedgehog, by the looks of things, judging by it’s rather strange nose and with all that green paint, possibly radioactive too. It’s pretty horrendous, we are not impressed!

We love our bridge, so having said hedgehog thing adorning its abutment (if you’ll pardon the expression) is just an aberration!

With the number of raucous duckers and divers we’ve had under the bridge this summer, gaining access to the water from the  fishing platform, poor Nigel is just thankful the river is now too cold and wild for any such little blighters to decide to make their way over to the island supports to continue their dastardly deeds ……… and hopefully by next year, will have grown up enough to see the errors of their juvenile ways!

The painting does look like a mutant hedgehog, unlike the real thing which are cute.

What on earth is going on with all these strange looking hedgehogs? What does it mean?

Oh, dear. That is terrible.

I hope Nigel doesn't get it into his head, to swim across, or hire a boat, or dangle from a rope from above, to paint over said abomination.
