Off With The Old

After yesterdays very serious discussion on Hugh’s showbiz future, Darrell found Hugh in a much lighter mood when he came down the next morning.

The lounge was in some disarray, with Hugh “wondering” if Darrell was at all familiar with the art of wallpaper scraping ……….

Not wishing to look completely unworldly Darrell immediately replied that he had indeed had his moments (which was total fabrication of course), upon which Hugh presented him with a rigorously spuming steam attachment and scraper ………

It was only then that Hugh confessed that he, regretfully, was a total stranger to such things himself, but had woken in the middle of the night fancying making a few small changes to the lounge, but as it was Mellors first day off in a month, he didn’t think Darrell would mind lending a helping hand………

…….. while he would guide and advise Darrell from a chair in the corner!!  In my opinion Darrell had been well and truly and expertly conned, however, always looking on the bright side of things, he did mention afterwards that all said steam had opened up his pores beautifully, which is never a bad thing! Hmmmmmm
