HAPPY NEW YEAR and WELCOME to a new decade, it's 2020 ........
....... and after a very hectic but also very, very lovely, if extremely tiring New Years Eve sleepover with Iris and Bertie, we shall be mostly starting the new year/decade by introducing them to the Duvet Day ...... as we are, how shall I put it politely ....... totally exhausted!
Saying that we are pretty organised .......
Darrell has volunteered for tea and toast in bed duty after all the help Nigel's and I gave him in putting away all the festive frou frou. I am then on hot drinks and cold cuts and snacks duty.......
........ while Nigel is in charge of finding suitable films for our delectation plus occasional bathroom supervision!
Iris and Bertie should be duly handed back to the Lovely Laura and Tom the Scientist at around two o'clock with coats over pj's and then we, in all honesty, will probably go straight back to bed........
.......... until around seven thirty ............
......... to see in the New Year in a slightly more grown up type nature than last night with Darrell promising a cheeky Vimto or two, so all in all another brilliant new day at The Towers. Happy, happy days ....... with another 364 in store before this time next year!!!!
