While out and about in town Nigel spotted this rather erm, fetching outfit he thought might suit Darrell in one of his more flamboyant moments, like cocktail hour, when he is staying with Hugh, his best friend and mentor of all things a la mode and de rigeuer.
I have to admit, it is rather colourful in a gay and abandoned sort of way, but am not quite sure it is actually Darrell, perhaps if the top or bottom were worn separately, but all together, with a natty scarf wrapped round his neck, hmmmmm, I am not so sure.
Nigel, did however take the liberty of nipping into the shop to ask if they had the whole ensemble in Darrell’s size and would they mind keeping it for him until he could get Darrell into town to peruse it for himself, bless him!
I have a feeling (secretly praying), that no considered purchase will in fact be made. Nigel will no doubt be a little disappointed, however I am sure Darrell will let him down gently, praising the little fella for being so thoughtful and on point with his fashion trends and then offer to treat the little fella to a coffee and toasted teacake in Bongiorno’s as a thank you for thinking of me gesture ……. and I, in turn, will breath a mahooooosive sigh of relief!
