We’re Going To The Commonwealth Games ………

It seems an absolute age since Darrell put in our application for the Commonwealth Games ticket ballot, to be honest we’d almost forgotten about it …….

Commonwealth Games Tickets- Weightlifting 2022

…….but then Darrell checked his e-mail this morning and guess what …….

We've Got Commonwealth Games Tickets 2022.

………we’ve only going!  We’ve got tickets for the weightlifting and rhythm gymnastics, sadly not diving or swimming BUT we are sooooooooooooooooo excited. It’s going to be a wonderous, once in a lifetime experience for us all!

We've Got Tickets for the Commonwealth Games 2022

It’s a long time off, but as we’ve already purchased our 2022 calendar (romantic coastal views)  the dates are now firmly etched upon it.

However……. as we are total strangers to these two sports it gives us plenty of time to get acquainted with all the art, rules and disciplines of said sports, plus the possible runners and riders of those who hope to make it on both British teams.

It would just look rude to be sat sitting up in the stands, perhaps hot dog and popcorn in hand and then be unfamiliar with what we are watching.  I am pretty certain that Darrell in particular might embrace the ribbon gymnastics once he has an idea of what it entails, bless him ………….

Great news! Congratulations!

I can see Darrell considering getting a long ribbon, or two, and giving it a try, himself.

Maybe it is just as well you didn't get tickets for the diving. Imagine Nigel trying it out, into the kitchen sink? Or, off one of the local bridges, into the River Avon?

You may get "Avon calling." Not the direct sales company, but Avon police, bringing a rather soggy Nigel home. (Mind you, the Avon police would be away from their base, seeing as it is the Avon and Somerset police.)
