Without A Pan For Our Eggs

We are very happy with our room at the Naias, it’s simple but with everything we need …….

…… although, not that we are complaining, we’d much prefer a glass panel to a shower curtain in the bathroom ……….

…… as we find they have a propensity to cling and wrap round you in a quite creepy fashion, if you are not diligent when taking your said shower.

We also have a small kitchen area, one of Darrell’s pre-requisites when booking any of our holidays, so that we can have a nice cup of tea in the morning while we are waiting on each other to get ready for the day and where he can prepare our packed lunches.

We have a kettle and ample fridge for our needs …………

……. however the cupboards, I have to admit are sparsely habituated with the bare minimum of plates, glasses, mugs and cutlery, so bless Darrell, for packing his favourite knife, scissors, dishcloth, tea towel, foil etc……..

…… but to his great disappointment, although we have two working electric rings, we have no saucepan to boil for our traditional, lunchtime hard boiled eggs!

I’ve told him I’m sure they would give him one if he asked in reception, but he says he doesn’t want to make a fuss and he’s sure there’s a lot of other wonderful things he can find when he hits the supermarket proper, to add a frisson of excitement to our lunch bags, that won’t need boiling……… what is he like, if not a creature of holiday habit!

Oh, dear. Never mind. Can't you improvise with an electric kettle and/or some of Darrell's foil or some foil packaging from something you bought at the supermarket?

Darrell is always very positive - as he says, you can try even more nomtastic Greek foods from the supermarket.

Hopefully it will be a little bit exciting to find out what you can come up with instead of boiled eggs. JantheFan x
