Well, with Mr Trevor having put right all Darrell's wrongs in the bedroom decor department, Darrell has been a much happier bunny. There has been a flurrying of spray painting (and all its resultant fumes), the appearance and subesquent arrangment of his many charity shop and flea market treasures collected over the past few months and the much plumping of pillows ......
I have to say that what Darrell's lacks in the paint roller brandishing department he more than makes up for with his artistic flair, the boy "dun gud". I think he has sucseeded, as planned, to bring some of the colour from our beloved Greek holidays, with a twist of Evesham to The Towers.
He seems pretty happy with it all too....... except, he says, ever the perfectionist, the "made" bed isn't quite right! He can't quite put his finger on it, but thinks it could be just a matter of adding a little more layering and texture to zhuzh it up and probably only needs two or three white and possibly one turquoise boudoir cushions to achieve the look he's got in his head .......
However , he's going to take his time about finding for them because, to be honest, when it's time for bed those aforesaid three/four decorative cushions, no matter how en-trend, de rigeuer and carefully positioned will be the first thing flung on the floor to make way for us!!! What are we like?

The boy Trevor "dun gud" too. Well done keeping Darrell out of the way, whilst Trevor worked his magic.
Yes I'm not for all these decorative cushions - I just want to leap into my bed and sleep, too tired for any boudoir cushioning. JantheFan x
p.s. loving the mirror look going on.
