It's TOO EARLY Nigel!

Though it is our very most favourite time of the year..........
....... trying to keep Nigel as grounded as possible as it looms so tantalizingly close is nigh on impossible.
Believe me he misses absolutely nothing, especially when he is on the nursery/school run, and this isn't helped one iota by those who choose to put their Christmas trees up in the middle of November!
No matter how much he pleads and pesters, I have found myself constantly reminding him of our time honoured family pre-yuletide saying ........ "NO tree shall be on view....... 'till November is through"!
........ and that's the end of it!

Two weeks to wait, Nigel. That's the law. Good luck with pleading and pestering.
Xmas stuff was in the shops here before Halloween. It is just wrong.

Yes, young Nige, I too saw my first festive lights, like you in a high window in flats, last week.......but they look a bit lonely....wait until next month when, Have Lights will Shine - in fluorescent abundance! JantheFan x

We’ve just been watching Evesham on the news and are so worried for you all. I hope and pray that you’re all safe and dry and that your lovely home has escaped the floods xx
