A Rabbit Caught In Headlights Type Moment

It took less than five seconds for Nigel to spot the gigantic iced Easter Egg in the school foyer, as he came through the main door this morning ……
It was truly a rabbit caught in headlights type moment …………
…… which held Nigel sooooooo robustly transfixed in its spell that Cook Lady eventually had to send out a search party to find him.
I knew that there would be no doing with him when he saw it, already panicking that he might miss the Raffle Ticket sellers!!  I then had to sit him down to explain the one strip of raffle tickets only rule, he was a little crestfallen for a minute or two, but I could see him musing …….
……. and soon came up with a cunning scam to offer to purchase strips of said raffle tickets for those who might be otherwise too busy to purchase them in person, on the proviso that if they win, they promise to share at least a quarter of the egg to him as a reward for providing them with the winning ticket!!  Ohhhhhhhh good grief!

That egg is massive compared to Nigel.
Great idea about getting 25% of it, which is still a huge amount of chocolate.

This splendid egg has Nigel in full creative mode......he is obviously not going to retire to the sidelines quietly...... this share idea sounds very good and a winner....now if he can get almost everyone to take advantage of his plan, he will be in chocolate heaven come Easter!...I would find it difficult to cut into this beauty!....good luck with plan B, dearest Nigel.....Dianne

Such an entrepreneur!! Good luck with the generous offer of assisting others to buy their raffle tickets, you never know-it might work.

Suddenly the hand painted real eggs we have over here in Germany seem so small and boring... Thankfully as we were just about to become incredibly jealous, our housekeeper announced she will be going to England over Easter, so we have every reason to hope that she will come back with a chocolate egg (or two) for us!!
