I noticed that this morning Darrell spent quite a long time at the computer, before suddenly jumping up and saying he was just nipping into town as he had some essential, nay vital shopping to do ……
…… he was like a monkey on a very determined mission.
He returned about half an hour later looking most triumphant, holding aloft a tub of high strength, chewable, raspberry flavour vitamin D tablets, saying he had bought more than enough for one month in captivity meltdown and two if it was (aghhhhh) extended.
He’d read several articles where scientists (but not Tom the Scientist, he does different sort of Science) had suggested that said vitamin might possibly provide added protection against this flipping virus and though we are both rigorous and robust in our Covid hygiene, anything extra couldn’t do us any harm and as such we were now all going to take one every morning with our breakfast.
Well, who am I to argue with that? Bless his little, caring cotton socks!

The boy has dun gud, yet again.
In "normal" times, if you can remember them, getting sunlight is all you need. Fortified breakfast cereal do the job, too.
Mind you, is life ever "normal," with Nigel and Darrell around?
